Outback Qld Masters scores hole-in-one at Queensland Tourism Awards

Australia’s richest and most remote golf series, the Outback Queensland Masters has just scored a hole-in-one as winner of the Festivals and Events Category at the 2022 Queensland Tourism Awards, with automatic entry as a finalist in the Australian Tourism Awards in March 2023. The event was also a finalist at the 2022 Queensland Sports Awards staged in Brisbane during November, 2022. Outback Queensland Masters the nation’s best new event

The Outback Queensland Masters has hit a hole-in-one at the 2020 Australian Event Awards, receiving the award for Australia’s Best New Event. The judges described the Outback Queensland Masters as “innovative, ground-breaking, inclusive, fun and creative”. “This is an incredibly unique new event. The effort, creativity and resourcefulness of the event organisers is truly impressive,” said co-chair of the judging panel Peter Rix AM. “Congratulations to all the finalists and winners. Apple & Grape Festival Marketing Awarded Best in Australia

Stanthorpe can proudly claim to have the best promotion for an event in Australia, with the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival’s 2020 marketing campaign awarded winner in ‘Best Achievement in Marketing, Communication or Sponsorship’ category at the 2020 Australian Event Awards. QTIC Announces Free Industry Program

The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) has just announced a new industry business development program. Key business activities have been identified to help Queensland tourism businesses to prepare for reopening and to be competitive in a primarily domestic market for 2020/21 including: pivot products and innovation, develop trade and new distribution channels, and review and modify existing marketing and promotional strategies. It’s Hot, Sweet & Spicy at Bundy Flavours 2015

Bundy Flavours Festival 2015 has just released its official program for Sunday 13th September with an abundance of guest chefs, gardening gurus and a record number of local producers, growers, brewers and makers.  Visitors will be encouraged to indulge in all things fresh and local with non-stop food, cooking and gardening demonstrations across four stages, live entertainment and tasting sessions. Tourism Operators Selected For New Mentoring Program

Fourteen lucky tourism operators from across the Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and Northern Rivers have just been selected to participate in a new mentoring program to assist in improving their capability to attract visitors and showcase a range of unique experiences to a global audience.
