Tourism Operators Selected For New Mentoring Program

Fourteen lucky tourism operators from across the Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and Northern Rivers have just been selected to participate in a new mentoring program to assist in improving their capability to attract visitors and showcase a range of unique experiences to a global audience.

An initiative of Australia’s Green Cauldron, the program is tailored to suit individual business needs including business development, marketing effectiveness, experience development and packaging.  The mentoring will include onsite mentoring in their businesses.

“This is a unique program that involves local, regional and state organisations in a cross-border partnership between Queensland and New South Wales”, explained Australia’s Green Cauldron Chair, Ray Morrison. “The successful applicants were selected from a pool of twenty-five operators who submitted written expressions of interest to become part of the program.  With such a demand for the program, we are investigating opportunities to extend the program in a bid to create greater outcomes for the tourism industry in these regions”.
